Ron Francois

I was stationed at Keesler from December of 1966 until November of 1967. I was initiated into the corps in February of 1967. Buddy Colangelo was the drum sargeant at the time. I took over from him when he graduated from tech school. Lt. Mc Intosh was our commander and he was a great guy. We marched at troop change daily and did monthly center reviews. We played at the 1967 VFW Nationals drum corps contest as an exhibition corps. We also did a couple of exhibitions in New Orleans.

It was a great experience and it would be great to have a corps reunion. I now play in an alumni corps on Long Island in New York. We are the Golden Lancers, The old Selden Cadets alumni. We had our 50 year reunion in 2004.
