I
was in the Keesler Blue Knights during the summer of
1980 to 1981. I was eventually Bugle Sgt.
While in the Blue Knights I played contra and
baritone and have some great memories of the 19th
squadron, the triangle and KAFB.

Flightline performance
I
was originally there to attend 304x4 Ground Radio,
but never actually got to work in the field. I
left Keesler to go to Cape Canaveral AFS and worked
on the Space Shuttle and other rocket programs.

building. Short shorts were in style back 1980.
I
ended my active duty career in Albuquerque working
on Strategic Defense Initiative projects. During my
reserve career I crossed trained into security
police and attend officer training school. After a
total of 12 years with the USAF I decided to
transfer to the inactive reserves.

I
am still in contact with friends that I made in the
Blue Knights. We had a lot of fun playing on
the flight line, Mardi Gras and other parades.
The '32' inspection is still probably my most vivid
memory of Corps life. I still have both of my
ropes and think back to how much fun they were to
earn.
