I marched Snare with the Blue Knights in 1980 - 1981.  I guess that makes me an alumni.  I was stationed at Keesler for Inertial Nav and Radar Systems.  Was on Fire Watch when John Lennon was Killed.  Loved raking Sand.

What can I tell you about that time?  I will say that being a memeber of the Blue knights helped me secure a place in the Special Forces and in Para-Rescue.  The extra time and dedication that we put volinarily looked good on my record.  It was a good experiance, we had a lot of fun, several hunch punch parties, and made big messes while waxing our boots with like 5 cans of melted on wax till the weee hours of the morning.  I had a great experience at the time, but our dorms where right by the run-way and we always heard the damned C-130's going at all hours, man I hope they moved the dorms!  It was a great time, and I am glad I can say I was a part of it.
